Minimalist is the new black. A strong, clean design leaves the eye undistracted from the core of a concept. The true message, product, or service is highlighted by a good website, not overthrown. The purpose is clear.

The Finery is an upscale semi-permanent (tattoo) cosmetics boutique. The design was made to be as open and minimalistic as possible, with nods towards high fashion design. The content, on the other hand, was written in stark contrast to provide a little shock and wit to the experience.

When developing the brand logo, the focus was on creating feminine curvature and alluding to the shape of a brow or lash line, while not being too literal. Font choices all-around were clean, modern and ever-so-slightly whimsical.
